JUNE 27 – TASSI RANCH, GRAND CANYON -PARASHANT NATIONAL MONUMENT
North of the Grand Canyon in the Mojave Desert lies Tassi Ranch, approximately 200 acres of creosote bush ranchland in Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument. Today, the remnants of the early twentieth century ranch can be found under the shade of an oasis of cottonwood trees, fed by the Tassi Springs near the center of the ranchland. SKUTUMPAH ROAD, GRAND STAIRCASE ESCALANTE NATIONAL MONUMENT
Skutumpah Road captures the beauty of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument with its rugged 34 mile dirt mile that winds past some great slot canyons. When you pass over a narrow wooden bridge at the Bull Valley Gorge trailhead, you might want to look around and see if you are able to spot the old jeep truck down in a crevice. PAROWAN GAP ROCK ART / AUTUMN EQUINOX
The Parowan Gap is an incredible area with a plethora of prehistorical and historical values. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Parowan Gap includes many petroglyphs of native people, markings from Spanish explores and 19th century pioneers. OCTOBER 24 – MARBLE POINT, KAIBAB NATIONAL FOREST
Marble Point offers a spectacular, panoramic view of House Rock Valley, Vermilion Cliffs, Marble Canyon, North Canyon and Saddle Mountain Wilderness. There are also excellent opportunities to view such as deer, fox, turkey, squirrel, grouse, hawks, eagles and a number of songbird species. Fall colors should be abundant at this time of year. High clearance vehicles are strongly recommended.

NOVEMBER 21-KAIBAB PAIUTE COMMUNITY & PIPE SPRINGS NATIONAL MONUMENT
The Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians is a federally-recognized Indian Tribe organized under the Indian Reorganization Act. The Kaibab Indian Reservation, which is adjacent to the Arizona-Utah border, lies within the Tribe’s vast aboriginal territory and encompasses approximately 121,000 acres. The reservation is surrounded by a wonderland of historic recreation and geological sights. Pipe Spring National Monument is located immediately adjacent to Tribal Headquarters.
